About Us:

Norwell Community Schools encompass two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Enrollment is nearly 2,500 students throughout the district from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. The district has an expanding special education program that serves all eligibility areas, providing intense interventions. Over 98% of Norwell High School students graduate with pathways to postsecondary education, employment, or military service.

Diverse Academic Programs:

  • AP & College Dual-Credit: We offer over 40 dual credit courses, including Indiana College Core credits and several AP classes.
  • STEAM/STEM: We emphasize STEAM/STEM education, along with programs like Robotics, Auto Mechanics, and Health Science.
  • Arts: Students thrive in our competitive choir and band programs as well as explore their creative expressions in theatre and art programs.

Community Partnerships:

NWCS collaborates with local businesses to enhance student experiences and CTE programs. Recently, Norwell Community Schools was awarded a $480,000 grant to expand our CTE offerings.

Parents actively participate in focus groups, aiding in the planning and implementation of initiatives.

About Us:

Southern Wells Community School Corporation offers a quality education in a close-knit rural community to the roughly 830 students on a single campus. The district covers several townships in southern Wells County. Southern Wells Little Raiders Preschool opened its doors in August 2023, providing a learning opportunity for nearly 30 students. The district emphasizes family values, discipline, hard work, and high moral standards. In Grades 7-12, students have access to diverse academic programs, CTE classes, and extracurricular activities.

Diverse Academic Programs:

  • AP & College Dual-Credit: AP and honors courses in Math and English. Dual credit courses through partnerships with Ball State University, Ivy Tech, and Indiana Tech.
  • CTE: Offers a range of CTE classes, including nutrition, health, business, early childhood education, and more.
  • Arts: Performing and visual arts programs for students to excel.

Collaborates with local manufacturers and businesses to provide practical experience and job skills through our ICE/WBL programs.
